In short

This website provides information. It sets no cookies, includes no advertising or social media services, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers. We process personal data only where the operation of the website technically requires it, for visitor statistics without cookies and where you contact us.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When a page is requested, the web server processes the technically necessary data: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the response code, the page you came from (referrer) and details of your browser and operating system.

We process these server logs so that the website runs securely and reliably, for example to find errors and to repel attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website. We do not combine the data with other data. They are kept only as long as this requires and then deleted.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. Our server is located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Contact

If you contact us by email, phone or through the contact form, we process the details you give us, for example your name, laboratory, email address, phone number and message. We use them to answer your enquiry. When you send the form, we send an automatic confirmation of receipt to the email address you gave; it contains only a fixed text and none of the details from your message. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is meant to lead to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the details once your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention duty applies.

On the home page and the contact page you can write to us through a form. Your details (name, email address, phone number if you give it, laboratory, topics and message) are sent encrypted to our web server and forwarded from there to us by email. We do not store them on the web server.

Visitor statistics without cookies

For visitor statistics we use Matomo. Matomo runs on our own web space at Hostinger, sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the pages visited, date and time, the page you came from, and technical details such as browser, operating system, language setting and screen size. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so we cannot identify you. We do not pass the data on and delete the raw data after six months; after that only aggregated figures remain. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in improving the website. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, Matomo does not record your visit.

The website contains links to external sites, for example to public authorities in the sources. When you click such a link, you leave our website. The respective operator is responsible for the data processing there.

Recipients and transfers

The recipients of your data are our hosting provider Hostinger and, where you write to us, the service providers that run our email and IT systems. We ourselves do not transfer your data to countries outside the EU and the EEA. Where Hostinger uses sub-processors, the safeguards of the data processing agreement apply, including the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, an email to info@elaboranet.com is enough.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma (www.garanteprivacy.it). You may also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work.

Further information

You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. Without the technically necessary data, however, the server cannot deliver the website. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
